I'd like to have a small corner next to the washing sink with a tool bench, full packout set up. Maybe even have my own tool stool with roller wheels and a plushy top.

What if I made a smart device product - use blank plates and an Arduino with a relay, people just have to push some wires into a small PCB for 240v (easy termination and keeps the wires isolated from the atmosphere), screw plates onto existing fixtures where your outdated light switch used to be. Have a smart pairing button to allow wireless plates and mounting boxes to be used.
The unit can also be wired into an existing fan capacitor, allowing for smart switching through our new 4 way relay technology.
With new 12v powered ceiling fans, these can be easily installed into crate-like housing units, that are basically prison containers and I can't believe it's all happening there. The mounting block can slide up to disconnect for portable use, e.g. move to beside the bed. Can also be recharged by USB C or wireless charging. Probably not wireless tho that's a fad. Nothing beats cables!!
